Project Background

A seaport plaza in Colombia wanted to improve the brightness, safety and comfort of its lighting at night. The traditional way of supplying electricity was costly and environmentally unfriendly. In order to solve this problem, the director of the harbor square decided to apply solar lights to the lighting project, using solar energy to provide continuous, stable and environmentally friendly lighting for the harbor square.

Program requirements

1. The light brightness is suitable, comfortable light, and coordinated with the surrounding environment.

2. Meet the standards of outdoor lighting fixtures, such as waterproof, anti-corrosion, etc.

3. Easy to install, easy to use, less maintenance work.

4. Long service life of lamps and lanterns, no need for frequent replacement.

Solution

In order to meet the above requirements, sresky partners decided to use solar buried light SLL-15 and solar landscape light SLL-12N. SLL-12N has a brightness of 2000 lumens, installation height of 2.5M-3.5M, three brightness modes can be selected, mainly installed in the square to do around, a small part of the installation in the middle, to ensure the night lighting brightness of the harbor square. Solar buried light SLL-15 is installed on the ground with the harbor square, used to embellish the harbor square environment, enhance the beauty, while providing soft night lighting.

SLL-15 and SLL-12N are high quality outdoor solar lighting fixtures, the fixtures meet the outdoor waterproof and anti-corrosion standards, with a waterproof rating greater than or equal to IP65, which can well adapt to the complex conditions of the outdoor environment. In addition, the SLL-12N adopts sresky's ASL technology, which can change the current intensity and keep the lighting time of the luminaire even under extreme bad weather.

Since the luminaire is powered by solar energy, the installation does not require laying cables, which makes the installation easy and the construction period short, reducing the construction cost. In addition, sresky's luminaire battery adopts charge/discharge temperature protection and over-voltage and overheat protection technology, so there is no need to replace the battery frequently, which greatly reduces the use cost and maintenance workload. The life span of these two lamps is tested to be more than 10 years, which is good to reduce the replacement cost of lamps.

Project Summary

The luminaires were installed and set at the appropriate brightness. In addition, the partner provided perfect after-sales service to ensure the solar lights can operate stably during the use. When night comes, the solar lights automatically light up and illuminate the harbor square, improving the beauty and installability of the harbor square. The beautiful and comfortably lit harbor square increases people's interest in relaxing and walking at night and makes the harbor square more lively.

The successful application of Solar Underground Light SLL-15 and Solar Landscape Light SLL-12N in the lighting project of a seaport in Colombia proves its excellent performance, environmental advantages and economic value.
