Project Background
A seaside port terminal in Croatia was ready to be rebuilt and the lighting equipment was to be completely replaced. The traditional wired lighting solution was complex to implement, consumed large amounts of power resources over time, and posed safety risks. In addition, the long-term use of the wired lighting solution would increase the overall cost of electricity and maintenance fees. Therefore, solar lighting is the first choice of lighting solution for the terminal owner.
Solution requirements
1. Guarantee the brightness of lighting while saving energy more efficiently.
2. Guarantee night lighting for 3~5 consecutive rainy days.
3. Strong and durable, waterproof and corrosion resistant.
4. Sustainable, easy to manage and maintain.
Solution
To meet these requirements, the port owner decided to install Sresky's ATLS series integrated solar street light model ssl-34 in the terminal. this series of luminaires are selected from LED lights, which are more efficient than traditional wired bulbs.
Over time, it saves energy, saves electricity and reduces overall costs. Also, three different lighting modes can be selected to reduce costs. High-brightness lighting when the dock is busy and low-brightness lighting when there is little dock activity.
In addition, in the low brightness lighting mode, the PIR function of the luminaire senses object activity, then it automatically becomes high brightness, making the lighting safer and more efficient.
ATLAS ssl-34 solar street light features
1.PIR function, in PIR mode, it will automatically turn to 100% brightness when it senses an object activity, and automatically turn to the original brightness after the object leaves.
2. Three lighting modes (100% brightness is 4000 lumens)
M1: 30% + PIR. Note: 30% of the brightness + PIR function
M2: 70% Till dawn. Note: 70% of the brightness to dawn.
M3: 100%(5H)+25%(PIR)(5H)+70% Till dawn. Note: 100% brightness for the first 5 hours, 25% brightness for the middle 5 hours + PIR function, then 70% brightness to dawn.
3. Light-controlled induction, automatic brightness in the dark, automatic light off charging at dawn.
4. use ALS/FAS technology. ALS can guarantee long time lighting, guarantee continuous lighting at night on rainy days. fas can realize automatic fault alarm function, more convenient management.
5. High flexibility, can be programmed according to different user needs, LED module, controller, battery pack can be replaced independently, can be expanded to integrate with the utility solar street light, etc.
6. Good anti-corrosion, IP65 level waterproof. Good use of materials, stable performance, does not require frequent maintenance.
Project Summary
By installing solar street light model ssl-34 at the wharf, this port owner saved a lot of installation cost, electricity cost and maintenance cost.
